1. What We Collect
The Seldon playground collects the minimum data necessary to operate:
- Playground sessions: A temporary session ID (UUID) is created when you run a scenario. Sessions expire after 1 hour. No account or login is required.
- Run artifacts: Scenario selections (industry, vertical, stack, scenario IDs) and run results are stored temporarily for export functionality. These are deleted when the session expires.
- Server logs: Standard HTTP request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, request path) are retained for up to 30 days for operational and security purposes.
2. Newsletter
If you subscribe to the Seldon newsletter (when available), we collect your email address. Newsletter subscriptions require double opt-in confirmation via a link sent to your email. Confirmation tokens expire after 24 hours. You may unsubscribe at any time. Subscriber records are automatically deleted after 2 years of inactivity.
3. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
- We do not collect personal information beyond what is described above.
- We do not use third-party analytics services.
- We do not build user profiles or track behavior across sessions.
4. Data Retention
- Playground sessions: 1 hour, then deleted.
- Run artifacts: Deleted with session expiry.
- Server logs: 30 days maximum.
- Newsletter subscriptions: 2 years from last activity, then deleted.
5. No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Data collected is used solely for operating the Seldon playground and newsletter.
